Tamarindo Park envisions creating a sanctuary that coexists with nature, offering homeowners the perfect blend of downtown beach life excitement and the wellness benefits of the surrounding National Park. The well-thought-out vision for this unique community began many years ago and has steadily become a reality, starting construction in June 2021. Since breaking ground, the construction in Phase One, also known as Hilltop, has been advancing rapidly. To date, 13 spectacular homes designed by Richard Müller have already been delivered to their respective owners.

As the project moves forward, more and more visitors have decided to live their Costa Rican beach dream and become permanent residents of Tamarindo Park. This year alone, 6 more homes have been sold, and all are currently under construction to be delivered in 2025.

In addition, 8 homes are under construction and available for purchase, giving potential buyers the chance to secure their place in this tropical paradise. By the end of 2025 and early 2026, a total of 28 homes will be fully completed.

Out of all the homes sold so far, 5 offer stunning ocean views, reducing the availability of ocean-view properties. With this limited inventory, now is the perfect time to make a purchase and claim your piece of paradise before it’s too late.

The Building Process at Tamarindo Park

On average, our homes take around eight to ten months to be completed, though ocean-view homes may take between 12 to 14 months depending on the requested modifications. We are committed to delivering our clients their perfect tropical dream home. To achieve this, our experienced architects, engineers, and subcontractors can incorporate modifications to the general design and finishes, reflecting each client’s vision of elegant modern living. These personalized changes can impact the final delivery date, ensuring every detail meets our homeowners' expectations.

For example, the homeowner of Casa Vainillo on lot 52 requested modifications to the original architectural plan, transforming a two-bedroom home with a separate two-bedroom casita into a single unit with four bedrooms. This change was tailored to the family's needs, and our team also included an office above the carport, maximizing space and functionality.
Additionally, Casa Bromelia on lot 51 underwent modifications to optimize the open tropical feel of the third-floor master bedroom, with the addition of an extra balcony. This adaptation offered the owner sweeping views of both the valley and the sparkling pool, integrating seamlessly with the surrounding garden.

The extent to which personalized changes can be implemented depends on the construction stage when the home is purchased. For instance, house 65 was at a construction stage that allowed the owner to remove a wall to create a larger main bedroom. When homes are purchased earlier in the process, like lots 49, 47, 31, and 74, clients have even greater flexibility to work with our architectural team to design their dream homes from the ground up. These green lots have provided an exciting opportunity for homeowners to create something truly unique and tailored to their desires.

Soon to be Delivered and Exciting Next Steps

We are excited to announce the upcoming delivery of house 54 and house 43, which were recently sold and will soon be welcoming their new owners. Looking ahead to next year, we are also set to deliver homes 48, 47, 31, and 74. These properties reflect the luxurious and personalized touch Tamarindo Park is known for.

Additionally, we currently have two stunning ocean-view homes on lots 27 and 26 available for purchase. These homes offer breathtaking views and the perfect blend of comfort and tropical living. For those seeking properties with easy access and exceptional features, homes 61, 69, and 70 are also under construction and ready to be claimed by their future owners.
We continue to move forward rapidly, ensuring each of our homes is constructed with care and attention to detail. Our focus remains on creating a one-of-a-kind tropical oasis for our residents, and we are confident that the delivery of these homes will fulfill the dreams of their new homeowners.

As we progress through Phase One, the "Hilltop," we are thrilled to share that plans for Phase Two, the “Coral Gardens,” have already been approved, with design work set to begin soon. Renowned architect Richard Müller is also designing our upcoming beach club, which will feature a restaurant, surfboard rentals, and a relaxing chill-out area—everything you need to enjoy the Pura Vida lifestyle.
